Children's Church

Our Heart Cry For Our Children
Children are our greatest gift and God-given responsibility before the Lord. We have a genuine desire to demonstrate the love of Jesus, and to provide instruction and spiritual nurturing with an emphasis on the salvation, sanctification and consecration of our children.

Studies have established that the hearts’ of children are most sensitive to the things of God at younger ages. We’ve also found that children learn best (and are most blessed) when their instruction is age-appropriate and is done in a fun- filled environment such as our Heart Cry Kid’s Clubhouse. Our Children’s Church programming is our loving attempt to design a worshipful, creative, learning environment just for children.

Infant & Toddler Facilities
Complete infant and toddler room facilities are provided so that moms with children may be refreshed by participating in the service without distraction. For those parents who wish to stay with their infants, we pipe in the service message into the room or provide a closed-circuit TV.

Children’s Church (grades K - 4th)
Children in grades K-4th participate in our Heart Cry Kid’s Clubhouse for Children’s Church. This allows them to participate in “Kid’s Praise” and attend age-appropriate classes so that they might learn on their own level. Parents are always welcome to participate with their children if that provides an added degree of comfort for their child.

Optional Junior Church (grades 5 - 7th)
Those with pre-teens between the ages of 10-13 have a choice to allow their children to remain in the adult service, or to dismiss them after adult worship to an age-appropriate class designed just for them. The focus of this class is the discipleship of pre-teens in the basics of the faith. Studies show that it is at this early age that children really begin to question (and drift from) their faith, and begin to capitulate to peer pressure and embrace competing worldviews. This transitional class is held in our teen lounge in the Clubhouse and also seeks to prepare them to graduate to our Adult Service.

Teens
We purposely desire to have our teens participate in the Adult Service. We ask that whenever possible, teens sit with their parents during the service so that they might worship together as a family.
